The centrifugal pump slurry coated with rubber are the ideal choice to transfer without solid edges with balls below 6 mm, offering a longer life than the bombs coated with metal.
The thick rubber section in the most sensitive areas allows absorption of inertia without erosion of solid particles, which does not happen with the use of metal parts. This type of pump is widely used in sand treatment industry, work with various types of sand. For corrosive applications, alternative materials such as Neoprene, Hypalon or butyl can be used.
Limitations: For the treatment of abrasive slurries with large or sharp particles, or when high temperatures are involved, hard metal pumps such as centrifugal pump line slurry are recommended (to help with the selection, speak to one of our support engineers) .
